Debbie Ruddock is the Chair of OneShoreline’s Board of Directors and the Vice Mayor of Half Moon Bay. She was first elected to the Half Moon Bay City Council in 1991, serving until 2003, and returned to the Council in 2014. She served as Mayor in 2017 and was re-elected to the Council in November 2018.

Debbie also serves as Vice Chair of the Sewer Authority Mid-Coastside, where she is one of two City representatives. Furthermore, she represents Half Moon Bay on the Association of Bay Area Governments, the San Mateo County Airport Land Use Committee, and the SFO Community Roundtable. During her earlier tenure on the Half Moon Bay City Council, she spent five years as an alternate member of the California Coastal Commission.

Professionally, Debbie works as a legislative analyst for the State Coastal Conservancy. She holds a Master’s degree in Journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia and a Bachelor’s degree in History from the University of Rochester.
